P3, Day 9, 152.8 +0.4lbs (-0.4lb LIW)

I seem to be staying OK around the weight that I am supposed to, my only concern is that I am really not eating a lot of calories, and after this maintenance phase ends, what happens if I do go out and eat a regular amount of calories? Am I going to have a massive gain the next day?

I guess I can't preempt any of this, so just have to wait and see!

P3, Day 8 -152.4lbs (-0.8lb LIW) TWL 12.8lbs

Well, I am up by 0.2lb today. Clearly this isn't anything to get too worked up about, but I would like to see the scale go down, not up!

Yesterday was the first day since I have been having losses that I didn't cook with coconut oil (or cheat!), so I am wondering if that has anything to do with it.

I plan on making sure I cook with coconut oil today and we'll see what tomorrow brings.

P3, Day 7, 152.2lbs -0.6 (-1.0lb LIW) TWL 13lbs

I really don't know how to explain my weight loss. I am definitely not eating a ton, probably in the 1200 calorie range, but I am eating what I need to feel full. I am just not hungry for more.

Yesterday I had a grilled chicken wrap - wrap (carbs!) being the operative word. I ripped off all the excess wrap and ate only what was necessary to hold it together, but it was a carb.

For dinner I ate just a small piece of steak grilled with coconut oil. I wasn't that hungry so I didn't feel the need to eat anymore than that. It would have been larger than the P2 allowance, but not by much.

I guess I will just keep doing what I am doing and hope that these losses continue! If they don't, at least I know I have some flexibility with my gain since i have lost a pound from my LIW.

P3, Day 6, 152.8 - 0.2 (-0.4 LIW) TWL 12.4lbs

I cant believe it!

I have to be honest and tell you I cheated bad yesterday. My calorie intake wasn't bad but I ate potatoes at dinner and an ice cream after.

I felt terrible about it all night thinking how I was going to pay today, and asking myself why I even did it. It wasn't hunger, it was quite simply my incredible desire for a carb and sugar :( Bad me.

I did cook the chicken in a good quantity of coconut oil last night so Im' not sure if that helped with the loss, but I am so incredibly grateful, and I know this does NOT give me license to cheat again!

I hope you are all feeling successful and happy, today is the last day of the week for us and I'm looking forward to being at the beach with the family. Even more-so with my better-every-day-looking body!

P3, Day 5, 153.0 Loss of 0.8lbs (-0.2 LIW)

So happy I made good P3 choices yesterday and ended up losing that extra 0.8lb.

I am happy to be at my exact LIW today 5 days after my last VLCD day. I am hoping that I might be able to slowly inch a little further down and be able to get myself to 150 before I do another round.

P3, Day 3&4, 154.8, 153.8 (+0.6 LIW)

So yesterday was the last day the family were in town and my weight showed it!

I did great on the cake, cut everyone a piece and then cut mine in half and ate that half. I didn't do so well on things like hot dogs and some home made chocolates that were being passed around. I only ate 2 (small pcs) but...I shouldn't of course, have done it.

Anyway ate better yesterday and drank a good qty of water and Im down a pound today, though still 0.8 above my last VLCD weight. I was SO CLOSE to going above that 2lb mark and needing to do a steak day, grateful that I didn't get there though. Still,  I need to get that number down!

I have eaten a boiled egg for breakfast this morning and now am snacking on hummus and celery. Can't go wrong with those choices right? I will work on keeping up my water intake and hope for a decent number tomorrow.

Im just really glad the weekend went off and I didn't totally blow my diet and gain masses of weight back that I couldn't get back off again.

A few more weeks of this P3 and I can go back to P2 and aim for those 140 numbers!

Oh! And I heard that my blog was blocked for some reason yesterday, it was - I checked and unblocked it, but I have no idea how it happened!

P3, Day 3 - 153.4 lbs (+0.2 LIW)

Eww, I have to say, I went out last night and drank 2 glasses of wine and had a few sips of a cosmopolitan though I ate only steak and salad while out, so no cheats on the food. Anyway, I expected to be up a little.

Today is the big day of cake and all sorts of "bad" foods, I'm HOPING I make good decisions so I dont regret them later. I am allowing myself a small piece of my sons birthday cake - here it is (sorry if this is temptation for you) I just had to show it, my hubby and I and my sister worked on it all afternoon yesterday!

He may just be the worlds biggest mario fan!

P3, Day 1 - 153.0 lbs (-0.2 LIW) TWL 12.2lbs

WOW, how happy am I? I actually LOST a little weight! As an aside, does anyone know if last weight is the last injection weight day or the last weight after the 2 extra days of VLCD when you are not taking the injections? If that is the case today's loss would count as a loss on the diet.

I didnt measure my calories yesterday but I'm thinking I was in the 800 range. I know I am supposed to stay on the diet for 2 days after, but as I take shots in the evening this has been almost 2 days already. Apparently the choices I made weren't too terrible.

I am planning on eating a little cheese today and tonight we are out to Thai, I plan on eating Massaman Lamb with no rice and adding vegetables. All good choices on P3 ( I hope!) I'm pretty excited about eating 'real' food again!

I also cant wait to have a glass of wine, but will wait until our big family dinner on Saturday night to indulge. It will have been 4 days from my last shot, so I shouldn't have any residual effect. I read that a glass of wine on P3 on occasion is OK.

I would be ecstatic if I was in the 152's tomorrow and managed to stay there. Would love to be starting P2 again in a few weeks in the 150 range. Here's hoping!

Day 23, LIW 153.2 TWL 12lbs

Of course I am disappointed with the final numbers, but it is what it is. I plan another round pretty soon, so I need to look forward.

I actually gained on day 22, I didn't get enough water the day before and I'm guessing my lunch mess up from the 2 days prior had something to do with it. So for now Im glad I am at least at my lowest weight, though a 152 would have been nice. Perhaps I can get there if I make good choices over the next few weeks.

Tomorrow I have family coming into town and this weekend is a big social time for us all. I will be on P3 and making P3 choices. I have already prepared myself to have 3 bites of cake. My sons birthday will be amongst the celebrations and I am making him a mario bros cake. I know I wont refuse it so I have told myself 3 bites and that's planned for and allowed (in my own mind!).  The foods I am preparing for the celebrations have a lot of seafood, meats and salads (thank god its summer here!) It will be easy for me to make no-carb and no-sugar choices. I feel good about it. The cake day is the same day everyone is leaving town again (Sunday) so if I need to do a steak day on Monday to correct anything I will be able to without worrying about guests and their needs.

I will keep posting daily and for now my planned date for Round 2, Phase 2 is Monday 21st March. Goal weight is 140 (I have lowered my expectations given my poor performance this round.)

VLCD Day 21, 153.2 (-0.4) TWL 12lbs

Nice loss, especially after the lunch yesterday.

I forgot my dressing (a sub conscious decision??) and the salad came with rice noodles that I had them remove before serving, but also peanuts crushed up in it that I didnt realize, so I had a really hard time picking them out, though I did the best I could. I was paranoid that it was going to affect today's weight but it all looks good. I have heard that it can be the following day that the cheat shows though, so fingers crossed.

I also forgot to inject yesterday, it was so strange of me, I didn't remember until late at night so thought it best to forget it and just do it today.

Looking for 152's tomorrow and I'm guessing Ill probably end up there for my LIW - about 3lbs heavier than the heaviest I hoped to be, [sigh] but whats a girl to do? Plan is to do P3 for about 4 weeks and then another P2. Hopefully that one will get me into the low 140's, high 130's. Hopefully.

I'm off to volunteer teach computers at my sons school today! I agreed to do it for one hour each Tuesday and this is my first day. Will be interesting! Have a great day!

VLCD Day 20, 153.6 (-0.2) TWL 11.6lbs

UGH, I don't like such small loss, its hard when you feel like you are barely eating and the losses should be larger, BUT at least it going down. To be fair I know I didn't get my water in yesterday so I will be sure to be totally on top of that today.  I just hope my next 3 days weigh-ins are larger.

Its Valentines here today in Australia and hubby and I are celebrating with him having the day off work and us going to a movie, and then to a cool restaurant/bar for a seafood lunch. I have already picked out my grilled seafood salad and will be taking my own dressing.

Not PERFECTLY on plan for the diet, but not too huge a swing. I wont drink which is no biggie for me. All in all it will be a nice day, and one that I wont have to feel too deprived on for a day that is the biggest "chocaholic" day in the world!

VLCD Day 19, 153.8 (-0.8) TWL 11.4lbs

Fantastic! So happy that I have lost nearly a pound today. If I can keep this up I will get closer to my goal than I hoped!

I take thyroid meds and I had run out before I started the diet. I was waiting to get some in (they are imported) and in the meantime was taking what I had left of a lower dosage from a year or so ago.

I finally got the proper dosage in 3 days ago, I'm wondering if this is what is helping me with my better weight loss? Just a thought...

We're off to take my son and his school friends bowling and then to the beach - its his 7th birthday next week and we are celebrating early. Happy Birthday to my boy!

VLCD Day 18 154.6 (-0.4) TWL 10.6lbs

They slow and steady wins the race, right? I guess I will be the ultimate winner if that's the case.

At least its going down, and for that I'm grateful. At this rate I should be about 152lbs (13lb loss) by my last injection weight.  I'm thinking of trying to do another round to at least get me to 140-ish only 4 weeks after this one. Does anyone know how not having the 6 week break would affect the diet?

VLCD Day 17 155.0 (-0.4) TWL 10.2lbs

I have to say, that's a lot of work to get over that 10lb mark and to only lose 0.4 pounds in about 4 days. UGH. And oh how I worked for it!

Yesterday I was STARVING, I mean eat-my-own-arm-hungry. I stuck to the plan except for the addition of a 1/2 egg. I had to do it. I literally boiled the thing and cut it in half and ate that and told myself I was going off plan and felt SO FULL now. (It was of course BS. I was still starving!)

But it kept me from any major cheats, hubby and my son had a nice takeout last night of which I did not partake (I told him I couldnt bear the thought of cooking them a delicious meal so he helped me out there). I stuck to my guns and I did get past that 10lb mark.

Here's hoping my last 6 days on the diet are a little more motivating. I take my last shot on Wednesday, we have family coming in for a reunion of sorts on Saturday. Sunday is the big shindig.


I REALLY wanted to be in the 140's and I highly doubt it will happen now. I'd need to lose a pound a day and I (clearly) don't see that happening with my history. Its a little disappointing. Oh well, I at least hope to get to 13lbs. 13lbs in just over 3 weeks isn't bad. Its not GREAT, but its not bad.

The universe is definitely screwing with me. It does not want me to get to that 10lb mark! How crazy is this?

VLCD Day 14 &15, 155.4 (-0.2) TWL 9.8lbs

It continues to elude arrgghh! It was my fault. I didn't even post yesterday because I had made my son banana and choc chip mini-muffins for school and had cheated by eating one and then not even getting close to my water intake for the day.... I was up a pound the next day.

Yesterday I was perfect with regards to diet, but still didn't get the water I should have so the fact that I have lost .2 lbs in the two days (and gained 1lb!) is testament to all of that. I am happy I am back on track and assuming I behave myself today should (finally) get to that 10lb mark tomorrow.

I hope you are all having much success and being a little more disciplined than I have. Here's to me still getting to those 140's before the weekend of the 19th - I hope!

VLCD Day 13, 155.6 (-1.0) TWL 9.6lbs

Ahh the elusive 10lb mark.

All being well I should of course hit it tomorrow so I am good with that. Im so happy the drops are all decent - nothing under .6lb since my break and this makes me very happy!

I should be on target to hit the 140's by the time our family reunion is here the weekend of the 19th.

I will then do another round after a few weeks on P3, and hopefully get me to my goal of 132 - somewhere I haven't seen since I had my son 7 years ago!

VLCD Day 12, 156.6 (-0.8) TWL 8.6lbs

I am happy the weight is coming off at a consistent rate. Thank goodness. Its really incredible how my body was holding onto the weight before TOM, highlights how our bodies will do whatever they are naturally inclined to do, no matter how we work at it!

Another pound and a half and I have (finally!) hit the 10lb mark. It will be a big deal, its been about 7 months since I have been at this weight and it was through hard work and months of dieting. This sure is a better way to go!

I know the US has their superbowl this weekend, hope you all have a great time and dont cheat too badly! I have also seen the snowstorms over there, so everyone stay safe.

I'm really grateful that I was able to "jump back on the VLCD bandwagon" and begin the injections and diet with no (seeming) aftermath from my diversion.

Full steam ahead with the plan and lets see if I can get this butt below 150's in the next few weeks!

VCLD Day?? Oh Hell, I dont know where Im at! 158.4

We took an unexpected trip away, and of course I ate off plan, and didn't start back on the injections when I expected to. So today is my first day "back" on plan and with the injections. I did do my best to make good decisions so for now its only a 1lb gain. I am at 158.4 this morning.

Ill start from there and get moving again. I cant wait to check all your blogs and see how great you have been doing to motivate me!
